Great find for some simple food away from the tour bus crowds on the Atlantic Ocean Road. There are freshly made waffles and sweet treats. She does offer a fish burger too.
The coffee is the Norwegian standard filter coffee, which goes well with the waffles.
There is seating inside and there are tables outside for great views when the weather is fine.

We stopped by Johanna’s Stue yesterday, and it was such a wonderful experience! We came late, just to ask for directions to the sunken ship, and not only did she show us the way—she actually walked with us and explained the best route to reach it. Even though it was after hours, she still served us coffee and took the time to chat.
She was incredibly helpful, giving us great tips on what to visit in the area and even calling Bergtatt to check if tours were available for the next day. Such genuine kindness and hospitality are so rare to find. Truly amazing people—this place left us super happy and made our trip even more memorable! Highly recommended!- Wait time

Really nice cafe at a scenic spot. Lovely service and an impressive history of strong women. It’s a really nice stop to enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of cake.

lovely place with amazing handmade bits and bobs, I got the most lovely recycled fabric embroidered bag! staff are so friendly and have a lovely story too:)

Lovely visit to a friendly, cozy cafe with a delicious klippfisk burger (homemade bread and klippfisk patty from a small, local factory) and hot, fresh coffee. Highly recommend!

Johanna's great-granddaughters are the embodiment of the Norwegian word hyggelig. Welcoming and kind, they took me in on a cold autumn day, generously letting me use their facilities, even though they were about to close. Tusen takk Anna, Oddrun, Aase, and Kirstin :) See you
